can my fellows in this forum share a list of entry level jobs that are available in Ontario with their wages within the computer science scope and what advice can someone give if i would like to work in less coding jobs or a jobs where you've got experience and it turn by time to an assets and not to a profession who is destructing by itself on every new language version after a time

Hi

If you want to transition into an IT-like role that is less technical and offers multiple opportunities, your best options are Business Analyst and IT Project Management roles. Requirements for BA roles vary depending on the role but a lot of them give preference to candidates with a technical background. They may not require that you have formal BA training but it will be good for you to have as it demonstrates above average competence. For project management roles, Project Coordinator is your entry-level option and you may want to do a certification as well, the CAPM. Either way, that certification will add points to your application whether it's a BA or PM role, but it's critical for PM roles. It's very easy to obtain - 23hrs of formal education and passing PMI's exam. Certification for BA roles is not a requirement especially for Junior - Mid level roles, but if you have an entry level certification, it helps your application.

Go to indeed.com and monster.com, do a search for both roles and see what the various jobs require. You'll be able to establish how you fit in. The BA role is the more flexible one to transition to. Your experience with sql will be handy as in some cases you will work with data sets. For wages go to Glassdoor.com You can search for salaries by job titles and see results across various companies. It's a great resource especially if your job searching.

Hope this helps.
