I extend my work permit, however it remarks: have to do medical examnation. I alreay do it, I just wonder whether the CIC will issue a new permit to me, if I pass the exam. thanks?

My employer said I cann't work Until Citizenship and Immigration Canada send out another permit with new conditions.

If you are extending an existing permit and you are still in Canada, you are normally under implied status until you hear back in which case you may continue to work. If there are new conditions, job location changing, NOC changing etc., some other rules may apply.
