NO! If you marry before landing, it will invalidate your visa and COPR. You will need to add your new spouse to the application and get the COPR reissued. If you land as "single" but are married, you will not be able to sponsor your spouse, ever...darshp said:

I'm a Canadian citizen, born and living outside Canada, planning to land in Canada soon, but would like to sponsor my gf after I land.
I intend to marry her here (outside Canada) then sponsor her after I land in Canada.

"Landing" is the procedure by which a Foreign National becomes a "Landed Immigrant" aka PR. It's not relevant to a Canadian citizen.aldrinv said:
