Hello all,
There are so many people who are migrating to Canada including me. I just received ITA 2 weeks back and in process of collecting all the documents. I am just wondering how I am going to manage once I land. It's like starting from scratch and I am not even sure how I am going to do it. I am just curios to know what others have in their mind, what's the plan they have to back up themselves and family, job search etc...?

Let's share thoughts here, this may help many of us.

Thanks,
Chikoo.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
You attend/register for the migrant services in your province, you look for government-sponsored internships depending on your noc, you study some more to gain Canadian experience + recognized credentials, you gather all the information you can get and learn, you volunteer, you ACCEPT that whatever you bring with you in terms of professional mindset and expectations are better left back in your home country. Moving to Canada, to anywhere really, means starting from scratch. If you have a chip on your shoulder, for instance refusing to work "menial jobs", then that attitude is exactly what will shatter your Canadian dream.

Weren't you supposed to think about this before you applied? Immigrations is very serious decision, at least it was for me, and I did my research and started my planes before I applied.
It all depends on sooo many things, what are your qualifications, where in Canada you want to settle and whether job market in this area needs people with your skills and so on.
Your question is very general. If you have any specific questions you want answered ask them and I'm sure people will answer.
But maybe there are better places in this forum to ask than "Express Entry" like
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/forums/settlement-issues.14/ Search there, maybe you'll find your answers there.
