Hi all,

sorry :-[ to ask so many questions but I tried calling the immigration - they didn't know and searching the net gave me only general info.

What happens if/after they deny the extension of my Open Work Permit? Is it always a deportation order or are there also less severe ways?
In my application I mentioned that I'm going to apply for sponsored PR (outland) in a few days as well but I know it doesn't affect their answer about my OWP.

Do the 'leave-Canada' procedures follow some rules?

If your work permit application is denied, you have 90 days to apply for restoration of your status and a new work permit. I should add that this is the case if you are inside Canada. Not sure whether restoration is available if you are outside Canada.

You have to be IN Canada to apply for restoration.
