What about training?

Hello everyone,

I just had a phone interview and will be having a face-to-face interview within the next 3 weeks. Is for the same position just for a different company (better pay) so my NOC code wouldnt change.

They have a 2 month full time paid training according to the candidate's strengths and weaknesses according to a psychologica profile test for management I already took.

Now my question, can I count those two months toward my work expereience? I am two and a half months away from completing a full year of work in a skilled position.

BUMP, i am in the same situation, lets say you worked 1 year and you have 1950 hours but 100 hours were from training, does the 100 hours include in this? help would be appreciated. Like the letter of employment would just say i have worked 1950 hours, they wont mention anything for training as far as i know.

I believe that, as long as you are classified as an employee during training, that you can use that experience - you should call CIC tho. The other question I might have is, are you being paid the same rate during training as you will be after you complete training?

Well as a shift manager at mcdonalds i was getting paid 11 for training and 11.50 after training, do you think that would affect it?

you can probably count that, but we're talking about an extra 2-3 weeks, yes? In that case, I suggest working the extra 2-3 weeks just to be sure...
