Hi this forum is really appreciable.

I got an email from cic about my husband sponsorship,

“This letter refers to your Application for Permanent Residence under the Spouse or Common-Law
Partner in Canada Class.
It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada class. Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks for you and, if applicable, all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, even if they are not applying to join you in Canada at this time. You cannot become a permanent resident until you and all your family members have met these requirements.”

Whats this email mean? Also what about my family joining/apply??

Please need a quick feedback. I am worried.

Thank you

That is sponsor approval yes. As it states at some stage you will be required to do a medical if you haven't already you may also need to do biometrics . They may also send your file to a local visa office you may need an interview... the timing of these things are in no way able to guess as every single application is treated differently. There is no normal order to the steps between aor and passport request. Nor is there a predictable time frame. But good luck

This is not sponsor approval. This is AIP. It clearly states that it has been determined that op meets eligibility to apply for PR. two very different things

We already did medical after 2 month application submission. Also we provided our documents again on request such as statements, job letter. After i have got my(sponsor) approval and now my husband got his.

Is that good sign or they may need more?!
