Is there any difference between Credential Evaluation and Authentication Report vs. ECA report?

If yes then is there any way if this report can be converted to ECA report without going thru the hassle of submitting documents again?

You have to get your ECA only from CIC authorized bodies like WES and have to follow the procedure these bodies have set. Your ECA certificate has a ECA number which you have to include in your express entry profile. This number is used by CIC to verify the authenticity of your ECA certificate.

Thanks for the reply.

I have got the credential evaluation done from WES only, but it doesn't say ECA report. It says Credential Evaluation and Authentication Report.

Pls advice.

I can clearly understand .. I myself went thru same situation .. Thew report given to you will not have "imm" suffixed to the report number .
The report you have is standard report which can be used for studies , employment ,etc

The report specific to cic will have "imm" suffixed to the report number .

You can get this specific report easily . You no need to submit docs again ..
In your WES account , there is an option to order a duplicate report . You can do that . Make sure you select the purpose of report as "Immigration " . You need to pay some 30$ fee I guess .
