Hi All,

I have completed my Bachelor of Management Studies [ BMS ( 3 years ) in 2004 ] and my Master in Management Studies [ MMS ( 2 years ) in 2014 ] from Xaviers Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai University

I used the WES credential tool to check my degree equivalency and it shows as Bachelors but it recognizes my Masters as 1 year graduate study.

Please advise would i need to select in the CRS tool

Bachelor’s degree or other programs (three or more years) at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute

OR

Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees.

and is there any way that i can get WES to recognize it as Masters.

After researching a lot some options are

1 ) Should I select Masters in Business Administration (MBA) as when I do i recognizes it as Masters

2) Getting AICTE certificate from your college

3) Does it make sense to use CES or ICAS.

4) Should i just submit my Masters

Thanks for your advise.

I believe if WES grades that as 1 year graduate study, so you become a holder of "two or more post secondary certificates, diplomas, or degrees with one being more than 3 years" which would get you almost similar CRS score as a Masters degree would.

WES wont pay any heed to your request, i feel their decision would be final.

As for CES or ICAS, sorry i have no idea. but, i would advise you to go for WES only.

Most of people are going to WES because they are fast, however they forget that speed is always dangerous, I have a friend who was working with WES and he advised many friends to go to ICAS if they are not in hurry coz ICAS will study deeply diploma and certifs. So Roland, if you have time and money try again with ICAS (20 weeks max)

What was the WES result of your BMS degree?

Did they consider it as 3 years Bachelor's degree?

Thanks in advance for your time.
