WES Ref number in Academic request form missed

Hi All,
Need your expert advise please!!
I got my name registered in your WES and started the process of sending the academic request forms to my universities for official transcripts. After getting the sealed transcripts from University, I realized that I didn't fill in the WES Ref in all the academic records request form as WES ref number will be given only after making the payment. I haven't made the payment yet. Is it ok if I mention the WES reference number in the cover letter and send then the documents?
Or is it mandatory , should I start over all again?

I have even sent a email to WES , but didn't get any update from them till date.

hi,

you can refer to country instrcutions in WES site, for some countries its okay to send sealed transcripts directly.

for ex for India, it is okay to do so.
i personally know many people who have sen ttranscripts directly to WES and there was no issue.

Many universities do not send transcripts outside country so WES is flexible in that regard.
do check your contry instrctions at wes.org/required

OOPs u made a mistake....

Now u can do one thing...

Write on the envelope as well and make a cover letter which u will put inside of the courier envelope, mentioning that u ha ve forgotten to write WES Number on form


Just this and nothing else.....

Lets hope for good ....

Thank you very much for your suggestion. Yes I am from India. I will put in a note on the cover letter that I have forgot to mention the WES Ref number and sent it to them. If I start all over again it is going to take another 2 to 3 months and I don't wanna wait that long.
Will keep you guys posted on the status.
