Hi, I just finished my Master's degree from Australia and I just got my transcript which says "Qualified on 4th December 2023 for Master's in ABC". It does not say "Graduated on dd mmmm YYYY for Master's in ABC" because my graduation ceremony is in late April 2023.

WES is pretty expensive to mess around with so I want to get it right once. If I submit now, I'm just afraid WES might not accept my transcript from My eQuals or even designate my highest education as my Honour's Bachelor's Degree rather than my Master's. Looking for some advice here.

WES accept myequals. You just need to give them consent on myequals account. This is written somewhere on their website.

I know they do, but my transcript only says "qualified" for masters and not "graduated" because the ceremony happens next year April. Any advice?

Usually the access is given once you are done.
You can start the process and share access with WES. If it's not right they will ask you for the alternative.
By the way lot of students are not able to attend ceremony that doesn't make them not a graduate...it's not a issue.

No worries.All the best...
Hi Taran

For EE application, there is the question for
"Standing at the end of study period"

Which has three options:
A. In good standing but no certificate or diploma or degree awarded
B. Certificate or diploma or degree awarded
C. Not completed

I finished my Master's this year December 2023 - I got my transcript and got WES to certify that it is indeed equivalent to a Canadian Master's degree. However, my graduation ceremony is in May 2024, and they will only confer the degree + testamur there and then.

When I tried submitting with Option A + listing my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, my points for education was knocked down. The total score should be 481, but instead it gave me 474.

The 474 is because my Master's wasn't counted in the CRS Calculator. What should I do?

So I have told to someone earlier as well if one has not attended convocation doesn't mean one has not earned a degree. It is nothing but a ceremony where you are given the certificate again in a leather case with a picture with Dean...
So the reason you are not getting right score because as you said point A. But the literal meaning of A is that you are already studying which doesn't fit you...
So try the B.
My friend haven't attended her ceremony as yet but is PR now...and have selected B.

Thank you Taranji... Yes, I have proof of qualification already + WES has designated me as Master's equivalent in Canada. I was worried that Canada will reject me or ban me because of this... Since WES itself said that, then I should be ok...
