WES evaluated BSCS Hons (04 years) as a 03 diploma

Dear All,

Please need support and guideline as WES ECA evaluated my Bachelor of Computer Science Hons (04 years) as as 03 diploma ?

I have done 16 Years education with last degree Bachelor of Computer Science Hons (04 years) from Qurtuba University Science and information Technology Pakistan.

I don't why WES considering 04 Years Bachelor of Computer Science Hons as 03 diploma, what I need to do ?

I was selected Bachelor of Computer Science Hons (04 years) in WES profile and also same is mentioned on my degree as Hons.

Why does it need to be evaluated as a 4 year degree? WES has determined your degree is equivalent to a 3 year.

thanks for reply and they consider as a diploma but not as a degree. if degree is 04 years than why they are evaluated as a 03 years diploma ?

All depends on country and school, but if you don’t like the ECA then try another group like ICAS. Why do you need a 3 year or more degree ECA?

they consider my degree as a diploma but years are doesn't matter. you may know the degree and diploma difference and value . for Canadian High skilled immigration.

What are you applying to? Express Entry? Study permit? PNP? For EE, it is a 3 year or more diploma/degree to count points.

MY FSW CRS too low (442) but 65 points for PNP.

So you have a profile already and are elgible with at least 67 points.

65 for what province. Each province is different.

Another ECA is not going to make a difference for EE.

What is your NOC? You need to increase your SINP score. Getting a new ECA will not do that.

Improve English scores, learn French, get a masters. Getting a new ECA will not change your points as points are based on a degree/diploma of three years or more. So having a 4 year degree doesn’t give you more points.

Can’t suggest another PNP without a job offer. Maybe you will get ITA through EE if your NOC is in demand.

french language didn't touch but i will try and masters degree will take more 02 years if I will start now. Also what about job offer if i will arrange via friends in canada ?
