WES ECA Evaluation

Hello there,

We are in the process to start the education evaluation of my sister for Canada's Express Entry visa but before doing so, I got couple of questions to ask. She did -

1. Bachelor Of Commerce from University Of Delhi Distance Learning - from 2007 to 2010
2. MBA from Institute of Management and Technology, Ghaziabad (IMT Ghaziabad) Distance Learning - from 2011 to 2014

And, doing full-time job from 2011 till today (full-time).

So, please guide what her possible equivalence will be as per Canadian Education system.

We had tried WES Free tool but only able to get the Delhi University (point 1) equivalence as IMT Ghaziabad is not showing up in the list.

Please help and guide.

You can't really tell the equivalency until you get the degree evaluated. In case of Distance Learning it is very hard to predict.

But do the WES count the distance learning in a proper way as full time degree as after all education obtained in anyway is being termed as education.

It depends on the University. I have read in the forum that they do not recognize Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning's PGDBM. And SMU too. Not sure about IMT Ghaziabad.

Can anyone tell me what is "ECA certificate number"? ECA reference numbner and "ECA certificate number" are the same thing?
