WES/ECA: Confusion regarding required documents.

Hey everyone,

I have already registered for my WES, but I have few questions that need clarifications.

• I have done my BBA from a Dutch university's Qatar branch. My issue is that the degree certificate doesn't state its from Qatar. Anyone seeing the certificate will think I studied in the Netherlands itself. This is because it states the name as "Stenden Hogeschool" which is the name of the head campus. However, on my transcript and a "results overview" (came with my degree certificate), the letterhead, signs and stamps from the various people all state it's from Stenden University Qatar.So will this transcript get rejected and do I have to go through the head campus in NL instead?

Another reason I am confused in this case is that WES wants to transcripts to come from exam committee. And both my local branch and the head campus have exam committees. However, my degree is signed by the exam committee in NL while my transcript is signed by exam committee in Qatar.​

FYI, the local branch here provides a description of the transcript that explains the grading system and also contains a line "Stenden Universiy Qatar is a branch campus of Stenden University Netherlands.​

• The transcript is just 1 page and is basically a summary of the modules in each semester (each semester having 2 modules). My question here: Do I need to submit a more detailed mark sheet which specifies which subjects I studied in each module?
• Lastly, the university name (Stenden University Qatar as well as Stenden Hogeschool) both don't show up in the WES list. However, before I started in this university, there was a merger between NHL hogeschool and Stenden Hogeschool back in NL (and both would be called Stenden Hogeschool together). And the WES list DOES have the older name of NHL Hogeschool on the list. So what name do I choose in this case? Am I right in assuming that a university not being on the WES list wouldn't the ECA?

I know some of the issues are quite unique in this case, and I have tried researching as much as possible about these. I even contacted the WES but they have been very poor in their support and they always tell me to just follow the details on the WES required documents website. So will really appreciate any help I can get on this.

i don't think the location should be a problem. my wife's college and certifying university were different. i just requested the university to forward the transcripts. if your office is in Qatar, just use that.

I'm an industrial pharmacist with NOC 3131 please advise whether I can complete ECA from WES or need to be from Pharmacy Examing Board Canada?. Help help

i don't think the location should be a problem. my wife's college and certifying university were different. i just requested the university to forward the transcripts. if your office is in Qatar, just use that.

The thing is its not just the location. On my certificate, it just says Stenden Hogeschool which implies that I actually studied in NL itself. And its signed by the exam committee in NL. But on my transcripts, it says Stenden Qatar and the stamps are from exam committee in Qatar.

my wife's location was another city as well. i don't think you have anything to worry about. you're not misrepresenting by saying you studied in NL.
