WES Doc Requirement

Hi,

I am planning to submit my documents for WES verifications.

I have completed my mca and bsc computers in osmania university, hyderabad, India and i have all the semister wise marksheets,consolidated marksheet,provisional and convacation certificates. Do i need to take transcripts for all these or simple i can photocopy these documents and get it attested by the university. Please help me in this regard,

Visit the University, they will charge you the fee for issuing Transcript, the fee is in accordance with the number of semesters.
You will also have to take along your mark sheets in original and the photocopies, take as many related documents as possible.
That shall help eliminating the trouble...
The University can issue the Transcript on the very day, or sometimes they take some time (5 - 10 days).
Speed up the process...

Visit the University with the degree and mark sheets, and pay the fee to begin with. They will guide you after that. And try getting it done the same day... (Basically the Transcript is a mini detail of all your semesters on a single page and that is issued with the stamp from the University Exam Controller, and the envelope that you send it in, should be stamped and sealed by the university.

You will have to send the Transcript, the mark sheets and the degree photocopies attested from the university people and the Transcript request form signed by the Examination Controller.

This all should be inside a single envelope (A4 size Yellow / Khaki envelope), and one for each degree.

put two of those envelopes in one bigger envelope.

If both degrees are from the same university, they could be sent together.

WES is not that a tricky thing, just get it done and send it. (Try Aramex or some other service for sending if you want to save time as they take around 3 days only to deliver your stuff).

India Post took 20 days in my case.

According to the wes website, it doesnt say that the degree photocopy needs to be attested.

I have applied for transcripts + photocopy of marksheet to be attested. I will then put the attested photocopy of marksheet + transcripts + transcript request form in the uni sealed envelope. then I will put that envelope in another envelope which will have the copy of my degree and provisinal degree.

i will use feddex.

Do u think this will be ok

By the way, the marksheet that i have are duplicate marksheet which i had got in 2007 as i lost the original ones. So i will be taking photocopies of the duplicate marksheet (it says duplicate on the marksheet) to be attested. Will that be fine

According to the wes website, it doesnt say that the degree photocopy needs to be attested.

Better be safe than sorry. It just ensures that there is no possibility of delays.

Absolute. No issues with the whole of it. WES is supportive.

Here comes the role of University, and those attested mark sheets, just make sure the envelopes are sealed and stamped (YES THE ENVELOPES TOO) by the university. Rest all is good.

Dude, Only the original ones.

TRANSCRIPTS, PCC, POF and IELTS Score Card, and the WES report. All in Originals.

They way Delhi university seals the envelope is as follows:

They will close the envelope, and then put a stamp across where they have closed the envelope and then they will put sellotape on the stamp. Thats what they do. Is this fine?

SEND ORIGINAL TRANSCRIPTS and the Photocopies of the Mark Sheets and the Degree attested. That is it.

? (Don't submit the Provisional Degree when you have the main degree :-/

Originals are not required, where did the confusion step in from?

as far as WES is concerned for ppl who graduated from India . you just need to send official sealed transcripts ( no need to include transcript form inside the envelop . this is when the institutions arranges to send the official transcript directly to WES which is not the case generally in India ).

so when you are sending the docs to WES.

1. official sealed transcripts
2. clear photocopies of degree certificates ( no need to be attested as per clear instruction from WES)

no need to overly cautious.

but guys i have one query.

can we send old transcript say i have a transcript which i got in 2008 ( still in sealed envelop ) to WES?

I would suggest that you go through the email which WES has sent you for Documents Requirement after you have made payment and got a reference no.

Send everything as it is been asked over there. NOTHING SHORT NOTHING MORE!!!

In my email, it never asked for a transcript rather it asked for Photocopy of Marksheets attested by Registrar of University to be sent in University Sealed Envelop.

So I simply followed what was asked by WES and sent it (No Transcripts sent). Everything went fine and I got my evaluation within few days after my entire documentation reached them.

P.S: Incase you have any document (like mine Provisional Degree Certificate was) in any language other than English - Get it translated into English by a Public Notary and send the Photocopy of the English Translation.
