I paid the permenant residency fee in July as requested and sent in the receipt to NDVO 3 times via email each time I had my email acknowledged but no one said they received the receipt.

Today I get an email asking for the fee. Phoned CIC Missisauga who say there is no record of receipt.???? :'(

I have sent it again today confirming it was paid and sent July 2014. This is so frustrating..

Anyone have any idea what could be happening...and how long this can take now. Are they ready to make a decision or note? What stage could this be?

A similar thing happened with our application though in Ottawa. We had paid the fee and sent all the proof that we had, and we didn't hear anything until October when they insisted we hadn't paid or sent the receipt.
Was possibly lost in the sea of papers.
We contacted the MP, took them the proof that we had sent and paid it and they took it from there. Our visa office found it 2 days later and we received a DM about a month after all of that.

Thanks for the response. Yes I too sent it to my MLA today and asked them to follow up giving them proof of the times I had sent it and rec'd confirmation emails from NDVO. BUT of course their email never confirms what they rec'd , just conf email rec'd. Very frustrating.

I think there is an 'IF' in the email; IF not paid etc.
People are getting such emails due to some error in the system may be.

I checked with CIC in Missisauga and they did not have the receipt. Will wait for MLA enquiry feedback. Such a slow process :'( :'(

You are supposed to send a copy of the receipt to Mississauga, not to NDVO. Local VOs cannot record payments in the system; CPC-M records it and then lets the VOs know it's been paid. You can email a copy to CPC-M; it's also advised to send a physical copy.

RPRF payments or other correspondence:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 6100, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4H4

Also, your MLA can't do anything about this. You need to contact your MP, Member of Parliament.

But their letter said to send it to the NDVO. Do you have an email to MISSISSAUGA? please and thanks

dear i have the same experience with me & we were asked to pay the RPRF in 2013 & my husband paid it. but that time i was refused as i have not sent the proper document which i was asked to send... so, i cant remember that my husband sent it to the mississauga office as we were so frustrated in that time... what ever now we are in the end of the process & the VO asked me to pay the RPRF yesterday & i found a copy of the RPRF & today i called the VO in my country & told them that i have the receipt & do i have to send one copy to the VO here & also have my husband to send it to the Mississauga too? then they asked me to send it to the VO here... so, can you plzzz call & ask your VO in your country whether you have to send it there or to Mississauga?
bcoz may be it'll change it to the country to country.....
and also i asked about the information which we have to fill in the receipt.. they asked me to fill my information in it.....

what ever do the best... good luck...

Whenever you make a payment, you have to email the receipt to both Mississauga as well as LVO. Here is the email for Mississauga Office: CPCM-EXTCOM @ cic.gc.ca (remove spaces). For LVO, it is the online inquiry option through which you have to send the receipt. Provide as much details as possible (file #, UCI #, Fullnaem, Date of Birth, Ppt # etc).

I emailed to to both Delhi and Missisauga. They confirmed they have found it.
