Sorry if someone already answered this, but how would this apply to those awaiting PPR?

"...you may need to give your fingerprints and photos (biometrics) when you apply for a visitor visa, study or work permit, or permanent residence if you are from Europe, the Middle East or Africa."

I am asking because I am working in Middle East, though I am Asian by nationality.

e.g. you have to provide your PCC from your home country and from where you are staying at present. If you are in a country like UAE you will be provided with a PCC on the basis of EmiratesID
