Ways to pay fees for French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream - OINP

Hi Everybody, I hope you would be able to help me guys!

I will quickly recap my situation for better understanding from you:

• I am registered into Express Entry Pool and have been receiving an EOI for Ontario PNP
  I have sent all the documents required as per the application guide
  My application package has been returned to me as I did use Moneygram as way of payment of fees (1500 CAD)

My problem is the following: I live in Italy, and the accepted payment method are not so easy to be done: cashier and certified cheques are issued only in euros (while the payment of fee must be in CAD); bank drafts are done only upon receipt of bank details of receiver (such as bank account no., bic, swift etc.) which are not disclosed from Ontario PNP offices; postal money order are done via Moneygram (which I discovered lastly not being accepted as method of payment) and money order are possible only via WESTERN UNION and similar services.

So, I was checking about options of making payment in France, that I read on internet it is easier to be done, but before going to France I wanted to know if anyone of you have been in a similar situation as mine, and if anyone has made payments from France for PNP...

I know Postal Money Order can be done from La Banque Postale, which is the national postal service in France, but I am afraid to go there and then there are some problems in providing the infos of receiver (fyg, application guide asks to address the payment to ONTARIO MINISTER OF FINANCE, while usually in Postal Money Order it is required to provide full name and address - i.e. Justin Trudeau

I strongly hope someone who had a similar situation as mine from France or Italy would be able to help, because I have to send back the complete application package by the end of the month and this is struggling!!!!

If you have any friends in Canada, you can ask them to help you in getting a bank draft/postal money order/certified cheque. You can send your application package to them and ask them to slip in the bank draft/postal money order/certified cheque in the package before submitting it to OINP. Alternatively, you can ask your friend to send you the bank draft/postal money order/certified cheque and you can include it and send it to OINP.

Hello All!!!

I encountered the same problem when submitting my application. I found that travelers checks are a good option. What OINP wants is a certified form of payment (a check that they know is already payed for). So what I did was purchase American Express travelers check in Canadian Dollars and I also attached the receipt of purchase in my application, to show them that I personally purchased them and that the funds in the check is already payed for and readily available.

thank you for your message.
Actually traveller's cheque aren't issued anymore in Europe (have called AMEX, VISA and MASTERCARD...none of them is issuing it anymore).
Right now I may found a solution through a bank here in Italy which shall issue this kind of cheque...keep the fingers crossed.
