Washington D.C. to Ottawa, Canada

Dear Friends,

I live Washington D.C., I want to complete my landing process in Ottawa. The reason I chose Ottawa is because I also want to go to US Embassy in Ottawa to get H1B visa stamp.

I have a large family and the air tickets from DC to Ottawa are not that cheap. Staying in hotel for 1 week and rental car will kill my budget.

I pulled directions from DC to Ottawa, it's about 11 hours drive. I have two small babies who don't like to sit in car at all. Although I can stop every 3-4 hours to take some rest and take them out to get fresh air but still 11 hours ............ LOL

Please suggest the most economical way to land in Ottawa, get my visa stamp and come back to DC.

Most economical is probably commercial bus and train. But it will take the longest (longer than driving yourself).

Second most economical is driving yourself in a rental car.

Third most economical is flying.

Your choice which one you pick.
