Thank again everyone who helped me! I now have a couple more questions. First... when we first applied to sponsor me to Canada we put what was still then my legal name on all my ID which was my previous married name. I had to subsequently change my name with Social Security since I’m drawing retirement... working and married. Same with drivers license since it’s linked to SS number. My question is... should I renew my passport (it expires in Aug 2019) with my married name or... just have it amended to reflect it’s been changed to my new name. (They will stamp that on back page) AND do I do a name change on my application if I only amend it.? I’ve also had to move to help my mom until she can get in nursing home.. can I change that online? It’s almost impossible to contact CIC from the US and you all have been such a big help!!
