My sister in law would like to visit Canada during the Easter break, she is a teacher and holds a valid U.S Visa currently. She wants to visit Canada for 1 week to see her niece and nephews, but wants her husband to accompany her, who is also a teacher but has no travel history. What do you think the chances of him getting the approval for the visa if they apply together?

Where do they live becuase Easter is less than two months away. To get a visa, they need to show:

- ties to home country
- travel history
- funds
- reasons to travel
-vaccination records

No one can tell you chances of both of them or just one of them being approved.

They have ties to Jamaica, she has travel history - he does not, they have funds, they’re both vaccinated and reason is tourism and to see her niece and nephews.

So they live in Jamaica. All they can do is try. Processing from Jamaica is about 52 days so a response may not happen by Easter.
