Want to travel to US for a visit

Hi

I have been in Canada for over 3 months now and I am on Open Work permit with a permanent part time job right now. I was wondering if there is any rules to apply for the US visa before or after completing your first six months? My probation period would end next week. Could you please help me out?

Others can comment but not aware of any formal condition such as time in Canada from the US to apply for a US visit visa. Obviously the ability to demonstrate that you have reasons to not overstay in the US helps anyone’s application although the US will still also take into consideration your home country citizenship is making any decision.
