I want to marry an forgiener who has visit me once already. I am wondering what the legal process is to marry. We do not require residency right away as we are both in positions that require us to stay in our separate countries. We are aware it is a long process to finalize the documents in Canada, but are in no rush other than making a commitement to each other, but I am curious about being able to marry on a return visit and the requirements I must take for our marriage to be legalized. Regaudless of how we get married, what does am immagrant require to marry a Canadian? Other than a willing canadian...lol

There is no fiance visa in Canada so if you want to marry in Canada, it would have to be on a visit visa but best not to advertise to immigration that this is the plan or they might think that the visitor is planning on overstaying visa and will refuse the visa. You could also get married in some other country.
