Hi all, I am an USA Student visa holder. I want to start my study from September, 2011. My sister, brother-in-law and their two babies are Canadian citizen. They came to Bangladesh last month, and my brother-in-law left Bangladesh only after 15 days. My sister is planning to leave next month. The ages of the babies are 3.5 years and 1 year. It will be impossible for my sister to go back Canada alone with the babies. She wants to take me to help her to escort the babies. But the problem is my husband is also a student in Canada. I heard it is hard to get a visit visa if your husband is there. So, in this circumstance will it be tough for me to get a TRV?

Why is it impossible for your sister to go back alone with two babies?

To obtain a visit visa, you need to prove that you have strong ties to your home country and will return home at the end of your visit. Proof can include: bank accounts, job, property ownership, family in home country.

The fact that both your husband and sister are in Canada will likely make it more difficult to demonstrate strong ties. Also, the fact that you will be applying from the US (where you do not have permanent status) will likely complicate things further.
