Want to do TRV cancelation for someone who wants 4th TRV extension

I sponsored my cousin who got visa before covid and got 2 extensions approved because of flights closed.

Now his 3rd extension is expiring in 1 week and I'm not keen to apply for his 4th one .. coz it will be surely rejected.

Now he says he found another sponser and willing to apply for him.

Whats are my options.. does that effect my record coz someone is staying for that long for no reason.

Can I contact CIC to withdraw my sponser and get his 10 years visa cancelled .. if yes what is the procedure. Is there any set form available.

There is no sponsor of his stay. You may have invited him but that doesn’t mean you sponsored him. The fact that he has extended his stay for so long can raise concerns if you invite other family members. He would apply for an extension but he is unlikely to get another extension as an extended family member who has already been granted numerous extensions. A 10 year visa doesn’t mean he can remain in Canada for 10 years. Each time he enters Canada or applies for an extension the length of stay will be assessed. Unless he is retired and/or has proof that he has enough savings to support his stay in Canada there will be concerns that he is working illegally and he is trying to remain in Canada. If he tries to reenter Canada after he has to leave due to extension refusal he will likely have difficulty being able to stay for a long period of time again and could even be refused entry. He will need to remain is home country and reestablish his ties there before trying to return to Canada. You can email IRCC and explain that you were supportive of his stay because he couldn’t return home but you are no longer willing to provide support for him during his current visit if you had previously indicated that you were providing housing, financial support, an invitation, etc. Would suggest being upfront with your cousin that you can’t support his extended stay in Canada if you plan on contacting IRCC.

How old is he? Most can not just keep On remaining in another country without working.

Are his children in Canada? How long has he been in Canada? If he is independently wealthy and can show significant savings to support his visit to Canada he will likely be able to stay over 6 months but seems as though he has been in Canada for up to a few years which raises concerns about whether he is trying to permanently live in Canada which isn’t allowed. How would he justify needing to remain in Canada fir this next extension if flights to his home country are possible? He had to show that he has ties to his home country like a home, family members, etc. to get the TRV so it would also be unusual for him not to want or need to return home after such a long time in Canada.

Thats the whole point he does not want ro understand and foolishly adamant to apply next ext. He has nephew and neices here but they r on student visas beside couple of friends living here. No he is not wealthy and Up until his last ext, which again I was not interested to apply, I was showing my bank stmt as his financial support. This time I bluntly denied to file another one just because he asked for it.

He came here in march 2020 just before lockdowns. Now living with his friends. I don't know he is working or not. All I know his visitor insurance is intact.

There is no legal liability on the person who provide a invitation letter to anyone. Dont worry.
