Waiting time for student visa Canada

Hii i have applied for student visa on 18 July on 19 i got a confirmation
25 July i gave my biometrics
On 27 Aug i got acknowledgment letter
Idk how much more time I need to wait
My classes have been started from 9 September will this have any impact on visa process?
Can anyone suggest how much more time will it take ?

Your time atarted on 27th. Check the processing time for your country on ircc website, this is the average time. Did you not miss your registration date already? It is unlikely you eill be allowed to join the program now. You should have asked for a deferement from your school. Ircc might ask you for new loa since you missed the term.

You needed to ask for deferment before the semester started. You are basically saying you can’t attend this semester but you’d like to enrol for the next one. That why it should be done before the start of school. I assume they may be able to still defer admission. Depends on the school and program.

Its possibly already too late to ask for deferement but check with school. Also ircc might ask you to submit new loa before issuing the permit it depends.
