Waiting Period

Dear Friends,

We had applied for canada immigration under skilled category(federal) under the simplified process in December 2006 through the canadian embassy at Nairobi. We got the file no. in February 2007. While checking the position on the CIC website it says that the processing has started since May 2007.

Do any of you guys have any idea as to how long it will take for the entire process to get over.

The CIC website says 80% of cases are completed in 47 months.

As thaiguy said it shows 47 months for 80% cases.

As other friends said it is a task of years so just forget and keep yourself busy in your professional life and be a good professional. One day you will find a good news from the Canadian High Commisson regarding your immigration. Good Luck
