Waiting for WP

Hello,

I went to my country and came back hoping to get my WP at the port of entry but immigration officer told me that LMIA was expired and I needed to renew it and suggested to go back as soon as I get it, but he let me in as a tourist.
I apply February for my work permit and LMIA expired on October, status is still showing as processing, but its been almost a year while waiting for a response, does anyone knows what should I do next o how much longer would it take to get my wp?

not yet, I only know thru the website it says that it’s still in progress

So call and ask. Agent may not be able to tell you much but all you can do is wait. Has eligibility review started? What is the NOC?
