Hi I received an ITA in December I applied for residency under Express Entry in February and then also my bridging work permit in February. I had to leave the Canada end of May but was expecting my bridging work permit to come through as it was estimated 48 days from processing time which was end of April.
It is now mid July and nothing has come through. I have phoned and they say they're waiting for the R10 completeness check from my residency which is holding up my work permit. They are not able to give me an estimate as to how long this should take. I thought that would already be done. I have passed medicals etc. I'm sure this is now way over normal processing times and they have not refused my applications so I'm unsure as to what's happening. Please advise.
Anyone else had anything like this? Or know how long an R10 check takes?
