Waiting for the visa... Please suggest

Hello,

My medical was done on 19 oct 2010 and sent passports to delhi office on 23 oct 2010. Now its been more than 2 months, I dint get any update from canada visa office.

I e-mailed them regarding the status of my application.. they said my background check is in process.

Please suggest some other way to get to know the exact status or some timeline about the issuance of visa.

Can anybody tell about the timeframe... do they include sat sun while counting the days passed after medical or they consider only business days...
