Hii everyone, I have been waiting for JAL from SINP for the last 4 months. When I did inquiry at SINP office, it was under Program Integrity Unit (PIU). Is there anyone who recently got their JAL or is still waiting for JAL ?
Employer files for JAL so ask your employer. If it went to PIU then that is not a good thing and there are no timelines. This means that SINP suspects fraud or misrepresentation on your file or that of JAL. So employer may be under investigation for fraud.
I have no idea how or why it went to PIU, as there is no misrepresentation or fraud. Other one guy who works with me got Acknowledgement of Receipt last week. Another guy got JAL after 3.5 months and waiting for his SINP approval.

Well that is the issue. Your employer seems to be using JAL too many times and maybe SINP has decided to investigate why so many people are getting JAL from one employer. Maybe officials believe the employer is abusing the system.
but all are genuine cases, and one employer can apply for JAL for different employees, right! and other employees got their JAL in December 2023. My JAL filed on April 18, 2024.

So employer seems to be applying for multiple JALs in a short time frame that is the issue. Even if genuine, SINP may be concerned that the employer is committing fraud. Just guessing but all you can do is wait.
