I recently did an inquiry on the status of the permanent residency application for my husband as it has been 13 months since we applied outside of Canada. This is the part of the response that has got me really concerned:
"Please note, the file is pending a review by an officer following the interview, as such, it is not considered as a routine application and the current processing times no longer apply."
How long is this decision going to take, it has been two months since the interview? How do they verify anything said at the interview they may have concerns about? How do I find out if there are any guidelines on processing times for applications that have pased the normal processing time?
Thank you for any information anyone can give me.
