W1 visa - Intra company transfer(ICT)

wanted to check if somebody is aware of the details.
on W1 ICT am i allowed to work in Toronto and live in a different city/province for a few months?
I dont mind travelling every week to Toronto for meetings but not sure if i want to live in the cold.
Can i let the customs officer know that i dont stay in Toronto every time i enter Canada?

So just to clarify you are planning to actually live outside Canada for a few months and commute when required hence the reference to informing customs on each entry to Canada . This given of course living in a different province you would not encounter customs traveling to/from Toronto.

no i am planning to live inside Canada but in Vancouver instead of -15 degree Toronto.
i will be regularly going to California from Vancouver so i will be encountering customs at Vancouver airport.
My question is will i have customs problems either because i will be using vancouver as POE or because the address in the customs form will be a Vancouver address?
Technically ICT requires job location to be as in the work permit. I don't see a clause about where i live so i thought i am fine? but more inputs the better
