My employer applied a Canada Work Permit application (ICT) for me, two years back. Application was approved and Visa was stamped on my passport. But, I did not have an opportunity to travel (as I got assigned to a project in USA). Since my Canada W-1 visa is expiring in next 6 months (and I had never travelled to Canada), can I apply for a renewal (provided my employer agrees)? In other words, without travelling to Canada can the filed application/visa be renewed?
