i recently call service canada regarding abuse from my current employer. They sent us link about vulnerable work permit. My question is should I include my wife and child for this application or should I submit my this application w/out them since their permit will expire next year. Thank you

Open work permit for your family members
Family members who came with you to Canada may also be eligible for an open work permit if your application is approved. They must complete their own application but may submit it together with your application.

It appears that you were originally a student and the left your studies to get an LMIA work permit where you have been working for a few years while attempting to apply for CEC. The timing of your application will certainly be considered since many are filing to try to extend their stay in Canada and get an OWP. Would make sure you have a lot of evidence if you are being exploited by your employer and explain why you’re applying now and not a year or two ago.

Good day to everyone. I’d like to ask question regarding OWP/BOWP. I recently received and submitted my PR application under CEC pathway. I have 2 years work permit visa (under LMIA).

“My question is, I just want to know if I can apply for BOWP even though my permit will expire in September 2024. Won't this changes affect my PR application? since my plan is to apply in the same job as before that gave me the qualification to apply for PR? Thank you”

Seriously ? So you wanted to reapply to the same job , presumably the one now you say is abusing you ?
