Hello Immigration Experts,

I have been doing en queries through talking with agencies and even reading online-forums.

I live in India & work for software company(Full-time & permanent), I have my friend living in Toronto, Canada and she has made request for me to visit.she is a naturalized citizen in Canada

So, there are a few questions I would like answers to and would greatly appreciate your help.

Questions:

1. other than a letter from employer,How can I prove to personnel that I have ties to India and that I will definitely return back?

2. does she need to get the invitation letter notarized?

3.She has opted to cover my expenses inlcuding my flight tickets,Accomodation,food and local trip cost(she has clearly mentioned in the invitation),i have my AMEX credit card with me;

here my question is, how mcuh available fund should i maintain in my personal account till the visa decision?

4.do i need air tickets (round trip) before applying visa to convince the immigration officers?

I really would like your assistance with this. My friend wants to give me the opportunity to experience another country and enjoy vacationing. She wants me to come this summer for approximately two weeks in May

i have gathered the below documents as per checklist:

bank statements for 3 months
letter from employer (No objection letter)
3 months of pay slip
Incometax IT returns
cover letter to Canadian embassy, whereby i Mentioned i will be returning back to work and my friend is Sponsoring this trip
Passport scanned copy details
Photo

Invitee Documents:

- invitation letter from my friend
- Last 3 months bank statement
- Canadian Citizenship card
- driver licence,
- pass port copy,
- Sin card
- t4

I guess I'm currently information overload as I really do not know what's the best way for me to apply Canada-visa. I am anticipating your kind response and other necessary information.

Thanks much and have a blessed day.

Thanks
Vi

it is a bad thing that SHE is paying for your trip

If she covers everything then $40 per day will be enough to have,

Two weeks is good. Let her describe in her invitation what she is going to show you? What sights? Meet her friends?

Have you traveled to developed countries before? If not then geting visa to Canada could be a challege.

How is it a bad thing that she is paying for his trip? It's just less expenses the applicant has to pay to maintain his stay and leave Canada.

The means he is not established well in his country if he could not pay by himself. if it is a situation with relatives - it is OK, when it is just a friend- it is odd.
