Hello there..
Really need help.. Don’t know how..
Is there even any possibility to get my un employed/ no bank acct/ no properties/ no business, mother to Canada?
Me & my wife would like to tour her in BC..
She stopped working abroad 14 years ago to be full time mom, I supported (financially my mom & 2 siblings).
Now my 2 siblings are grown ups and working. One with a child. Mom is taking care of her 1 grand child & her own mother who is 87years old.
Want to give my mom a break and visit Canada but she has no financial income/ no stable job & no land or business. She had small businesses before but unregistered and cash basis, no records of them. The house is named under her eldest sister.
Is there any way for me to help her visit me and my wife in Canada?
I just don’t know how to prove Visa officer that she will go back to her home country after visit as she has no strong ties in country aside from my siblings and her mother.

She receives small monthly allowance from me and my sister (for taking care of her child) and from her mother (also for taking care of her).

Thank you kindly.

Some visa offices might be a bit more sympathetic in such cases. She could get lucky if she is applying from one of those countries.

Nonetheless, she must not apply with zero finances + zero ties.

1. Can one of her immediate family members financially support her visit? Not you/your wife.

2. Does she have any family/personal commitments and events that are scheduled in her home country after her intended visit?

3. You might want to consider applying for her super visa if you're eligible for it

Hi Bryanna,
Thank you for your response.
She is applying from Philippines..

1. My sister nor brother’s income is not enough to support her. Can I send money in her bank acct and declare it “as a gift” from her children for her travel? If we don’t declare it as a gift, visa might reject her not knowing where the money came from.. (??)

2. She doesn’t have any scheduled commitments perse, but could my sister make an affidavit, as well as my grandmother (mom’s mothere) that she is their primary care provider (for grandma & sis’ child) so they are expecting her to come back?

3. I checked and we are eligible to apply her for supervisa, but on the forms they still ask for my mother’s financial situation.. I guess our income is only secondary? or primary? If sending her show money could solve it, we would be happy. (Do they ask where the money come from if unemployed?)

Thanks again..

Will start to apply for my mom’s supervisa.
It’s good to know there is a way.
Thanks Bryanna and Bellaluna.
