your parents have to prove that:-
1) they are financially stable n sound.
2) have good ties with their country of residence/citizen.
3) they have no intentions to stay in canada and will leave canada before their visa expires.
4) they have a genuine reason to visit canada.
Whatever you write will just satisfy point number 4. Applicant simply stating that they are visiting their son/daughter is more than enoff. You can write a simple letter saying that your parents are planning to visit you and that they will stay with you during their stay in canada.
