Visitors visa for my mother

Guys,
my mother wants to accompany me on my landing this November as Im a single applicant and this is my first time to travel alone and be away from home.we made already her cic account online.however,yesterday and today, the application form wont appear on the screen..it says need an upgrade of adobe reader but my laptop has the latest adobe reader.Another thing,the documents needed for uploading is an invitation letter.so does it mean i need to make an invitation letter to my mother to accopmany me on my landing?

You cannot invite her as you will go to Canada at the same time. On the form IMM5645e Family Information your mom can indicate that she will accompany you.

This is not recommended and there is a very high rate of refusals since IRCC is often concerned the parent has plans on remaining in Canada long term if they travel with you. You should come to Canada first on your own. Once you have lived in Canada for a number of months and established yourself, that is the right timing for your parent to apply for a TRV.

Please if i am a single mother, are there any documents required to move to Canada with my son who is 0.7 years old. There is no father's name on birth certificate of my son. Do I still need any documentation to show i am the sole parent? Thank you in advance.

It would depend on the laws in your home country for determining sole custody. It's possible the fact that only you are listed on the birth certificate automatically gives you sole custody. Or it's possible you may have to go through a court procedure to have sole custody declared. You will need to research child custody laws in your country.

My son is a citizen of usa not my own country so which law will apply?

If you read the o/p, (posted in 2017) he was LANDING, aka becoming a permanent resident, not on a student visa , two totally different situations . And no, the VO does not have to issue a visa for the parent in either situations.
Typically individuals arriving into Canada as either a PR or student visa are ADULTS, and are treated as such , where they don’t require their parent to escort them, the reason being , is that they applied to come to Canada as a ADULT

Unfortunately I fear that you may be planning on having your mother remain in Canada to help with childcare.

To get a TRV your mother will have to show strong ties to her home country. Is your mother employed? Is it a longterm well paying job? Does she own property? Does she have a decent amount of personal savings to support her trip to Canada without using a large proportion of her savings. Has she travelled internationally to countries similar to Canada?
