Hi All,
I am in the process of having my in-laws apply for visitor's visa using the new portal. My wife & I are Canadian Citizens. Here is a little background about the situation -
1. My in-laws are 70yrs and 65yrs in age and live in India
2. Father-in-law is working as a General Manager of a mid-sized firm in India.
3. Mother-in-law is a homemaker.
4. My in laws don't own a property and both do not have any travel history in past 10 years.
5. My in-laws have 3 children. 2 sons are living back in India, of which one had visited us couple of years ago.
6. I am on a full-time tech contract job valid till sept 2022. I have been on contract for more than 2 years now.
7. My wife has her own small business
8. The entire trip would be sponsored by us.
Given these factors, my questions are -
1. To prove ties back to home country for my Father-in-law, the fact he is working as a General Manager and that his 2 other children are back in home country good enough?
2. To prove ties back to home country for my Mother-in-law, the fact her 2 other children are back in home country and that she needs to be back with her husband in the home country for his work good enough reasons? Is there anything else that could potentially show ties to home country.
3. When we applied for my wife's brother's visa couple of years ago, we presented return tickets. Would that be necessary here given the volatile situation owing to the pandemic.
4. Will the fact that I have an on-contract job (all though with decent pay) and that the current end date is september 2022 have any impact on the application?
Thanks for your inputs in advance.
