Visitors Visa for Canada - What do you think?

Hi ALL, please help me on my case below.

My situation

I am planning to apply for Canadian visit visa for a 3 days Project Management course in Canada.
I will be staying in a hotel for 1 week.
I am Ghanaian and I live in UK and own a business. I am the director.
I have CAD$ 5,000 in my UK business account and CAD$ 74,000 in my Ghanain account.
I have been to France, Italy, belguim, Holland.
I am in Ghana right now for holiday with my Family

Questions

1. Since Ghana is not my country of residence can I apply for visa in Ghana?(I am ghanian anyways)
2. What do you think are my chances of getting a visa – do you have any concerns with the above?
3. Since I own a company in UK – what sort of document to I submit.

The only thought I have is that it seems strange to come all the way to Canada for a 3 day PM course since these would be widely available in the UK. Is there another purpose to your trip as well?

Yes tourism.. too! SO i will stay one week - 3 days for the course and 4 days to look arround..

what do you reckon ? ..

You have lots of $, family back home, you own a business, you're staying for a very short time, you've travelled to other affluent nations before, it looks like your chances are very good
