Hi. I came here to Canada as Visitor Visa last Nov 2019 and allowed for 6 months stay only. During my visit to Canada i crossed to US Land Border for sight visit overnight. Does my exit will reset my stay for another 6 months upon exiting to Canada to US not going back to my original country at Asia? Please help

Me & my daughter is a tourist living w my bf a canadian citizen and have plan to sponsor me as his common law partner. I understand that we need to cohabitate for 12 months. We arrived here last May 2019 til sept 2019 (4 months) and get back here again Oct 2019 to present (4months). Infact we are establishing our cohabitation but i have absent of 1 month during Sept to October but the communication never stop my question are
1. Is 1 mth absent will affect our cohabitation though we have constant communication?
2. If yes, whats the other way to consider my first 4 months (May to Sept) stay not to be wasted since we already have total of 8 months cohabitation now?
3. We came back here October 2019 and by April 2020 we are 6 months. We visited US for 1 week does my crossed to US reset my 6 months stay?

You cant consider the first 4 months since you left for so long, you need to count 12 months starting from October
