Just new here, I just wanted to ask if there are applicants here that experience a long waiting for visitors visa. My mom applied online in January and it says in her portal it was received January 27 then they ask for Biometric after she submitted in February and marked received I

Depending on where you're applying from, it can take more than 6 months to over 200 days now. What does it say under other statuses? Eligibility started? Background started?

It still said they are reviewing the eligibility and checking the background. Nothing change until now. Is there any way I could follow up?

Can't follow up, it will take its time. You just have to wait, that's what millions of applications are doing right now unfortunately. For most people, status changes directly to Passport request/approved, or to rejection. Statuses barely change in between anymore.
