Visitor who doesn't speak english, what she or he can do?

Hi my mother wants to visit me here on Canada, but she doesnt speak english, so If she got the visitor visa, then how can she do at port entry at airport with the immigration officer if she doesn't speak english, how can she answer the questions of the purpose of her visit? thanks

Give her a letter requesting a translator, that she can give to the CBSA officer.

Usually this is not needed. Translators are available at the airport, nonetheless this will help the CBSA to better plan his next move.
