Hi ,
I need to invite my friend’s mom and her grandson. She is not related by blood. So what should i write in invitation and do i need to prove the relationship ? Please help ? Or only invitation letter is enough ?

You only write letter of invitation that they want to visit Canada. Invitation letter is the least important document.
