Hi, I applied for a visitor visa inside Canada. I already contacted IRCC and said there is no problem with my application and I would get an answer next week. But I have to leave Canada in 2 weeks, which means there is not enough time for my passport to get stamped. Is it possible to submit my passport in another country (outside Canada) to get the stamp?

When you get approved for the TRV you can request stamping in another country because you are currently abroad. How long will you be out of Canada? The big issue is that TRVs often take time to process and get stamped so if a short visit you may have to extend your stay. Not sure how IRCC guaranteed processing would be done by next week. Normally they can’t guarantee processing times.

Thank you very much for your response. My question is, let's assume that my TRV gets approved when I am in Canada, but can I request to get stamped outside of Canada? Since sending my passport and getting it back takes 2-3 weeks, I cannot wait to get back my passport.
