Hi,

My Girlfriend is from Japan and she stayed in Canada for one year and a half(One as Student/Worker and half with work permit). She quitted her job because was too much stress for her and decided to go back to Japan. Now she wants to come back after 3 months and spend our birthdays together so she needs to quit her job in Japan to stay here for two months. Are high the chances to her be deported/denied entry?

1 - She has assets
2 - She has family in Japan
3 - She has eTa
4 - flight to come back

Thank you

What do you mean be deported ? Has she committed some crime or overstayed her legal stay last time ? Maybe you meant to to say denied entry ?

If she was in Canada legally then coming back as a visitor to visit you should be no issue at all as long as she answers CBSA questions honestly, only questions asked and not volunteer anything extra. She may get asked what she does for a living , who is paying for the trip and although is not a 'crime' to be unemployed as long as she is honest in her answers she should be fine.

Plus she is visa exempt which does help and as along as she has a return ticket as well although nobody here can predict anything she should be fine..

Thank you for your answer. Yes, I mean denied entry(fixed). She never overstayed or did anything illegal. She just quit her job that she had work permit and come back
