Your mom cannot apply for a new TRV from within Canada. She must apply from abroad

You have asked this question many times earlier.... here are the replies to one of your previous posts:

i never got an accurate reply to my question. thats why im posting it again of course. also that checklist doesnt work for applying visa it is to extend ur stay as a visitor in canada, also when u say she has to apply from abroad does that mean she needs to travel outside canada and apply from there?

I think the best way is to apply online, Just follow the instruction as she were in your home country, the only difference would be the question 9 in IMM5257E which you should put "No" and then enter Canada. remember the question 7 should be her country of residence not Canada.
If the visa approved, then based on the mailing instruction you should send the passport to the country which you entered in question 9(Canada). However,The only issue that may arise is bio-metric which I don`t know if it is needed for you nationality or not. I am not legally responsible for this guide but this is the best I think you could do otherwise I would recommend calling an immigration lawyer.

@CICOtawa
Btw I think her mom is from a country that requires biometrics.

@ maria_786
Your mom can only extend her visitor status from inside Canada.

To apply for a new TRV, she must apply from a *country of residence* ie a country to which she has been lawfully admitted (visitor, PR, worker, etc)..... you may want to check Question 7 in this link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5256ETOC.asp

Hope this helps :)

I think country of residents is the country she lives permanently, but I if she needs bio-metric she needs to go to USA and does it there and also in question 9 she needs to puts USA, IF her TRV already expired but she has Status she doesn`t need a TRV to re-enter Canada if she just go to the USA.

When the Visa approved you just simply need to send it to USA and then they will returned the passport to Canada.

this is the law:
Re-entry to Canada with Original Temporary Resident Visa (TRV)

Generally, a new single-entry Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) or a multiple-entry TRV is necessary to re-enter Canada as a visitor, student or worker.

As an exception, you can ask to re-enter Canada with your original TRV, even if it is expired, if:

You will only visit the U.S.* or St. Pierre and Miquelon and will return to Canada before the end of your authorized stay.
An officer will ask you questions to make sure you meet all of the requirements before allowing you to re-enter Canada. If you visit any country other than those listed above, you will need a new TRV.

*Including its Territories and Possessions.

it is just me or everyone else also read 8 years on visitors visa ?

If it is she is not a visitor as she is staying here permanently. If she is a PR she cannot apply for a visitor visa.

@maria be careful if you want to answer Canada to question 7, as she shouldn`t be living in Canada permanently her visa might get rejected as it shows she doesn`t want to leave Canada. Also, look at question 9

no she was on a diplomat status for 4 yrs, then she got a vistor visa for 6 months n then she extended it n the second time she got the visitor status for 3 yrs . n now she has extended it for another 6 months . there is valid reason y she is here on visitor status, no issues so far
