Visitor Visa with mother

Hi,

I’m working in MNC since 2014. I have my salary in account, PF deduction and last 4 ITRs available. Sufficient bank balance around 15K CAD. Age - 30.

IELTS score - LRSW - 8.5,8,7,6.5 respectively. ECA done - Masters equivalency.

However, I want to apply for visitor visa with my mother to meet my real sister living in Ontario on PR basis and having a full time job.

Please advise if I have a fair chances of getting visitor visa with my mother.

You and your mother apply separately (over 22) & approval is based on your own funds, ties to home country, travel histor & reasons to travel. Nothing to do with your education or IELTS. Your mother shows the same.

You could apply together, get an invitation letter from your sister, possibly show a strong reason for both of you to join your sister in Canada for a short visit. Unfortunately IRCC and Canada do not consider "visiting and meeting" your real blood relations as a good enough reason to travel to Canada. This country is overloaded with people, and there's not enough space for people to stand on a ground in Canada. So you basically have to show you'll come back. You have ITRs, a good job (attach a job letter signed by company) showing you have a job with them, and they are authorizing a leave for you.

My reason is to meet my sister. Funds are approx. 15K CAD. Working in same company since 2014. Travelled only to Thailand that I believe deemded not as a travel history. Please advise if you think the chances are slim or I should apply.

Reason isn't something IRCC will see as important. Like I said, they don't believe people have emotions or feelings. For them, you're a trouble to their country, so they reaallyyyy want a goooood reason for you to step on their land made of gold where diamonds flow off of Niagara Falls LOL. Rest is good, just need a good reason, along with an invitation letter from your sister. Else the chances are zero

Potentially no. If it was other way around, it could be a concern, where you applied for EE or PR, and were not qualified or your file expired or your CRS score didn't meet cut off, and your PR file is closed. THEN, they'd scrutinize you MORE on your visitor visa application. They'd say you want to enter Canada somehow..

Yes, I applied for EE and my file was expired after a year.

Then I do not suggest applying, you’ll face a rejection UNLESS you’re now married, and can show you have a spouse + job + owned property in India you will return to.
