Hello,
I came to Canada as a student. I submitted my PGWP in May and my wife's WP extension in July. We both received a provisional letter while we wait for the work permits to be approved (IRCC is taking up to five months). So we're kind of in an "implied status", although our provisional letters are still valid, and we are both working full time (me on a NOC B).
Considering this, can I apply for a visitor visa to travel out of Canada before our work permits are approved? I've heard that we may be denied because Canada hasn't technically approved our temporary residence applications. I also want to request a visitor visa for my wife's parents, but I'm not sure if I should rather wait for the WP approvals. I'll appreciate your comments.
